No-Welding Off Grid Wood Stove for Subscribers - M-Stove Project

wood stove, camp stove,

I made three M-Stoves, a gift for subscribers. I filmed the process of how I made the stove. The top plate was reinforced with a 2t stainless steel plate to improve durability, and a fire door was installed on both sides to make it a fun double-door stove. A thin refractory brick was installed on the bottom and rear wall of the stove to increase the heat mass to help combustion. It was hard to make a stove for the past week, but it was more fun than ever. I don't know who will be the winner, but I want you to use it safely and fun. (2020-03-27)

This is my workbench located on the side of the yard. If the weather is good, it is a great place to work with warm sunlight. The sound of birds and the atmosphere around the airplane flying in the sky is a great element to heal.

I made a total of four sets, including one set made for a sample. I marked both sides of the container with a rectangle close to the square, cut it off with a grinder, and put the stove door on it.

It is a rectangular stainless steel dish to be manufactured as a stove door. After cutting it in half, I used two layers to make one.

2mm thick stainless steel (austenitic) plate to reinforce the top plate where hot heat is concentrated. It is used after processing the part where the stove pipe is connected and the bolt hole that is connected to the top of the stove. I bought a stainless steel plate from a metal dealer that sells cut dummy steel, and it has been cut by shearing at a very low cost. 1 dollar for each.

The first processing is completed. The corner part was cut a little with a grinder and rounded. My iPhone XS is mirrored.

Reinforcement plate is combined with upper firebox. M4 stainless steel countersunk bolts with a length of 4mm are used and fit perfectly.

There are stains on the shiny side, but this is not a problem. Because I know it's a process of transforming into a new shiny guy. I was excited about this coming soon.

This is the installation of the intermediate connection to connect the stove pipe.

A fire control box was created by combining the stove door, door latch, and air inlet control together. All materials are stainless steel except for the ceramic rope added for sealing.

For sealing, the ceramic rope was fixed to the part where the door and the fire chamber come into contact. Because it is a double door stove, I made a total of eight.

To install the heat-resistant glass inside the stove to see the firewood burning, I cut the sides of the firebox into rectangles (smaller than the size of the heat-resistant glass). Then I drilled a hole to fix it with a bolt and nuts.

Now it's close to the camping stove. However, there is still much work left. Now it's close to the camping stove. However, there is still much work left. After this, I also installed fireproof bricks and assembled various parts to improve the completeness.

This is a heat sink to be mounted on the back of the stove. This will be a nice structure that will securely fix the refractory bricks later. It is the same stainless steel plate as the one previously used for the stove door.

One fire brick was placed on the bottom of the firebox, and another one was fixed with bolts on the wall. When using a stove, these refractory bricks absorb the heat inside the stove and maintain heat with a high heat mass, which will help burn.

Stove door is installed. You can see the number 4 showing that this is stove 4.

The ceramic rope for filling the gap between the upper and lower firebox joints was fixed with bolts. These bolts combine the upper box, baffle plate, ceramic rope and lower box.

At the request of the subscribers, the channel name was laser-engraved, indicating that the stove was created by the creator Camping Together. I paid about $ 2 for each.

It's not gorgeous, but it adds meaning to the letters. Thank you to the subscribers who suggested it.

So my two-week journey ended. It was a very meaningful time to do all these processes, including material exploration, ordering, shipping, material processing, modification and assembly. It's a joke, but maybe I won't be able to do this Giveaway event again. It's a really difficult task that only a person who has tried can know. It's not perfect, but it's a camping stove with plenty of my heart.

I hope event winners will enjoy camping with this stove. The production reviews for M-Stove, the only five in the world, end here. I will update if other options are added. Thank you.

  3. Daybok! Great work! An Amazon link to products would also be useful and popular on youtube. In restaurants chefs call them " A third Pan" 1/3 Pan "Hey, grab me a third pan (1/3 pan)" Hope you can sell a lot! Keep Camping!
